Cousin Amy Dugar celebrated when Josh was convicted and was open about his belief that he deserved the maximum punishment for his crime.

Speaking to In Touch this week, Anna speculated that Josh was “for a rude awakening” at his sentencing hearing.

Amy told the outlet, “I don’t really think that 100% justice can be done for these victims.

Amy reiterates that she expects Josh to receive the maximum punishment, and if it does, will “probably celebrate.”

Josh faces up to 20 years in prison, but legal experts say that as a first-time offender, he will likely be released with a light sentence.

As a teenager, Josh molested five young girls – four of whom were his sisters – but his parents helped him avoid the lawsuit, making him a technically first-time offender.

Amy added that she believes Anna, brought in by the Dugers, has effectively brainwashed.

“It breaks my heart,” he said in touch “I do not like it at all. And I just hope he’s okay. And I hope her kids are okay. I really do. “

Asked if he had spoken to Anna since Josh was convicted of child pornography, Amy explained that he had tried to contact her cousin, but to no avail.
