Audrey Rolf: Jeremy and I dropped out of the farm!

Matt Rolf seems to have a lot to explain.

To multiple members of his one-time close family.

As previously reported, the father of four put 16 acres of his farm for sale a few weeks ago, announcing the decision on Instagram and writing at the end of his statement at the time:

“It’s time to move on to the next season of life.

It was definitely Matt’s choice, since he bought his ex-wife Amy in 2019 entirely from the land.

Over the years, however, there has been controversy over the popular tourist destination handed over here and there – either by Matt’s son Zach or his twin brother Jeremy.

Shortly after he confirmed plans to sell a portion of the lot, Matt explained some of his thoughts, writing that “my twin boys decided not to consider working together on a possible joint sale.”

He further claimed that the children had “gone to other interests and investments” and refused an “adequate family discount” to buy the farm.

In a truly shocking rebuke, Zach Rolf tagged his father in a comment and trashed the man positively.

“Once again, he spent most of his life not taking responsibility for his own actions and blaming others,” Zach wrote, shocking fans and adding late last month:

“Pull out the family drama that he has created and then manipulate the fan base to get yourself out properly.

“This post is a new shocking low on cowardice and manipulation of his family and kids for his own benefit.”

So … it was Jack’s reaction to Matt that he hoped to sell the property to someone outside his family.

Now, let’s hear from Matt’s daughter-in-law, what shall we do?

When asked if she and her husband had ever considered buying a farm, Audrey Rolf responded on June 1:

“We tried to come back in May 2020. We felt comfortable sharing about it in a podcast episode.”

Continuing to be annoyed with Audrey, how things turned out:

“Jar and I had hoped to take over his parents’ farm (or part of it) since he was younger. It was something he believed was possible.

“It simply came to our notice then.

“When we get married it becomes a mutual dream and we start working for it.”

After Zach’s surprise attack on her father, Amy Rolf also spoke up and blamed Matt for the controversy.

“Everything comes at a price, and it comes at a big cost,” Amy told sales followers and potential salesman Matt about how he handles things with his kids.

“But we will always look at it differently and that is unfortunate. But I feel for my boys.

“The way they were raised is not what we thought it would be.”

Back to Audrey, meanwhile …

The mother of three reiterated that her and Jeremy’s desire to occupy the farm was “no secret” and that they were “very public” about it in their book, and in both cases, until their departure in July 2018 during their time at Little People, Big World. Social media.

“When we were finally at a stage where it was practically possible, we made an offer, but realized it wasn’t meant to be,” Audrey wrote on Wednesday.

After noticing that he and Jeremy intended to “save” the farm, Audrey added:

“We realized that Zer’s family wasn’t really as consistent with our progress as we thought they were.”

That’s great, Boom. There it is.

Audrey never felt particularly close to her father-in-law’s house, almost never posting a picture with them on Instagram.

Maybe now we know why?

“As you may have noticed with Jared’s family, things can get a little complicated,” he continued.

Audrey said leaving the farm was “incredibly difficult” for them, explaining that they “fell in love there, got married there, helped run the business there,” and wrote:

“We really thought we would raise our kids there. As I said, it’s a dream come true. “

The author and podcast host tried to end with a positive note, however:
