Indian TV star Chethana Raj dies at the age of 21 after fat removal surgery went wrong

A young TV star went under the knife and sadly never came back.
According to reports, Chethana Raj (Above) went to a private hospital in Bangalore, India for a fat removal surgery and died within hours – all due to hospital negligence, his family claims.
The 21-year-old allegedly went with his friends Dr. Sethi’s Cosmetic Clinic For a cosmetic surgery without her parents knowing. The actress’ parents have filed a medical negligence case against the doctors at the hospital, which has been closed. Binayak PatilThe Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Division, Bangalore, said of the police allegations:
“This is a case of medical negligence. An unnatural death report is awaited, and a lawsuit has been filed against Dr. Shetty’s Cosmetic Center on suspicion of his death. We have filed a case, but no arrests have been made yet, as action will be taken after the medical report is submitted. ”
Raj’s parents say the procedure was performed in an ICU where there was a lack of proper facilities and the hospital claimed that the procedure was violated without the consent of the parents before doing so.
Actor’s father, VaradarajuSays:
“They performed the operation without any warning. Physicians should have advised surgery only if there was a real need for fat removal. His friend signed the consent form before he underwent surgery. “
Her uncle suggested that the unrealistic beauty standards of the entertainment industry were largely responsible for the tragedy, noting:
“Someone told her to lose weight, so she went to Shetty Hospital for fat reduction surgery. They do not have ICU but have undergone surgery. Fluid entered his respiratory tract and his friend was told he had suffered a cardiac arrest. “
The grandmother of the actress, NarayanmaRaj says he is willing to do whatever it takes to become a star, telling the press:
“She borrowed money, gave us jewelry for surgery, hoping to be a star. We even tried to reason with her and told her we would talk to the doctors. But she insisted that she and her friends get it done. Done. “
Doctors tried to revive the actress through CPR for 45 minutes but were unable to do so. Realizing that he was unresponsive, Raj was taken to the nearby Kade Hospital, where doctors forced him to be treated. Kade Hospital said its doctors were pressured into a protocol violation for a patient brought in dead.
