Johnny Depp took the stand again, calling Amber Hard alleging sexual harassment

The sixth and final week of the Johnny Depp-Amber Hard defamation trial is currently underway in Fairfax, Virginia, and as in previous weeks, there is no shortage of drama in the courtroom.
In today’s episode, Depp’s team saw the actor’s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss calling to the stand.
Hard mentioned Moss during his testimony, telling the court that he had heard a rumor that Depp had led Moss down the stairs during their relationship.
Speaking via video link from Gloucester, England, Moss denied that he had ever been abused by Depp.

“He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down the stairs,” Moss told the court.
“As soon as I left the house, I fell down the stairs and hit my back. And I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me, and I was in pain. He ran back to help me and took me to my room and gave me medical care.
After Moss’s testimony, Depp took a second stand.

He answered questions from his attorney, Camille Vasquez, who at one point asked Depp point-blank how he felt sitting in court listening to Hard’s testimony.
Depp testified, “It’s insane to hear the heinous allegations of violence – sexual violence – that he blamed me for.”
“Horrible, ridiculous, insulting, ridiculous, painful, rude, unimaginable, brutal, cruel and all lies. All lies … No man is perfect – of course not – we are none. But I have never in my life been sexually battered, physically abused, “She is OK.

Prior to the trial, Hard alleged that Depp sexually assaulted her with a glass bottle during a violent altercation in 2015.
On the stand today, Depp Flat-Out denies that there was any truth to Hard’s claim.
“I have never been sexually abused or physically abused in my life. All these weird, offensive stories of me doing these things and waiting six years to live with it and be able to find out the truth, “Depp testified.

“It simply came to our notice then. I know that. No matter what, I’m here and I’m telling the truth. And for six years I’ve been reluctant to talk about what I’ve been carrying on my back. “
The decision to bring Depp back to the stand was a bold move by Depp’s legal team
Earlier in the week, Depp’s legal team called for the judge to dismiss Hard’s counter-claim.

They argued that his case was based on a claim made by Adam Waldman, Depp’s former attorney, and that Depp could not be held responsible.
“There is no evidence that Mr. Depp saw Mr. Waldman’s statement until he was prosecuted,” Depp’s attorney Benjamin Chiu argued.
Prior to the trial, Judge Depp rejected a similar offer from Hard’s attorneys, requesting that the case be dropped.

Not surprisingly, Judge Penny Azcaret also rejected Depp’s lawyers’ offer.
“The jury may conclude that Mr. Waldman’s Service made this specific statement to the plaintiff to a third party. [Depp] Depicts the accused [Heard] As an opposing litigant in a negative light, “Judge Azcaret said in today’s ruling.
“Therefore, there is more evidence that a reasonable judge can assume that Mr. Waldman made a counter-claim statement when he realized that they were lying or recklessly disregarded their truth. It is not my role to measure its veracity or weight. Said, adding:

“A question for real hate incident investigators.”
Depp is suing Hard for 50 million and Hard is suing for 100 100 million.
Both actors argue that the other side has done irreparable damage to their careers with defamatory statements.

The trial is set to end on Friday, with the jury set to begin talks on Tuesday after Memorial Day weekend.
