Josh Dugar’s aunt says the nephew is guilty, the main need for “psychological help”

Another relative of Josh Duggar talks about his imprisonment.

On Friday, the convicted sex offender’s aunt, Dina, spoke to The Sun, revealing for the first time since Josh was convicted and exactly where he stands in the case of his nephew.

Simply put?

He knows Dugar has illegally downloaded juvenile graphic content from his work computer – he just thinks he did it because he has something wrong in his head.

“I think he is guilty. I think he should get some help to find out what’s really going on, “Dena told the outlet, adding:

“Find out the cause of all this and get the emotional help he needs.”

Jim Bob Duggar’s sister, who notoriously covered up her son’s sexual misconduct with her own sisters when Josh was a teenager, gave Dina some details about her family history.

“My father had a serious mental illness. It could be passed down Josh. I don’t know, “he told The Sun.

Josh was sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison last week.

He was convicted in December of downloading hundreds of photos and videos on his work computer in 2019, all of which involved children under the age of 12.

At least one of the videos showed an 18-month-old man being raped, according to federal agents and forensic experts.

What is there to say about such abomination?

Prior to his arrest, Dugar had confessed to inappropriately touching his siblings at the age of 13 – and also confessed to cheating on his wife with the women he met on the Internet in 2015.

The symptoms were there for a while.

Josh Dugar is a very troubled person.

Dena told The Sun this week about the scandal, “I was shocked by what happened.”

“I was told something different. It’s really a complicated situation when you are told one thing and something else happens.”

About April 2021 arrest?

“I was watching our local news and we heard that Homeland Security stopped near Josh’s car. I called one of the family and asked if it was true and they said, ‘No, they just stop.’

“Homeland security doesn’t just stop there.”

No they don’t.

And at this point it should be clear that Josh’s family members just can’t be trusted.

“It simply came to our notice then. What in the world is going on? ”Dena continued on Friday.

“I was told it was a former Conan [who downloaded the child pornography.] I kept trying to figure it out. They had a lot of evidence against my nephew. It breaks my heart because I don’t understand his thoughts. “

Neither Josh nor his parents have spoken publicly since last month’s sentencing.

However, some of Josh’s siblings have spoken.

Jill Dugar and her husband have issued a specially directed statement.

“While some believe that Josh should have received a larger sentence and still fewer believe that he should have received a lighter sentence, God has avenged him today for his unspeakable criminal activity,” it said.

It’s unfortunate, but it looks like he could spend more than a decade in federal prison, and for some more experiments, Josh has the potential to be rehabilitated so he can live safely in society again.

Hopefully, Josh can actually start treatment and start working towards a lifestyle where he is less likely to re-offend.

If nothing else, the notoriety of this case will hopefully contribute to the prevention of potential offenders and help protect children by reducing the demand for CSAM.
