June Shannon loses custody of daughter, forced to support child

Friends … what a few weeks have passed for June Shannon!

At a hearing last April, a judge granted June’s youngest daughter, Alana, the sole custody of her sister Lorin, according to court documents first obtained by The Sun.

The 16-year-old has been living with his older brother since their mother was arrested for possession of cocaine in March 2019.

In the months that followed, June and her then-boyfriend, Zeno Doak, spent almost all of their money on drugs, staying out of hotel rooms, and visiting various casinos in Alabama in other states.

A few weeks ago, however, a judge made this unusual arrangement official, simply saying in court:

“It is in the best interest of the child that the plaintiff be given sole custody.”

The judge ordered Lorin to pay $ 800 monthly for child support from May 1, 2022; And continues on the first day of each month until Alana turns 18 years old.

Alana, of course, helped her mother become a real television sensation when she starred as a contestant in the children’s beauty pageant Hear Comes Honey Boo Boo.

As part of this judge’s ruling, meanwhile, Shannon’s salary was made public.
