Matt Rolf: I’m doing it! I’m selling farms (some)!

Someone is going to buy a farm.

Not in the metaphorical sense. Not in the sense of the long-running phrase that translates Moving away.

No, we mean it literally:

Matt Rolf has been selling Oregon-owned property for decades – or at least part of it.

Roloff for sale

On Thursday afternoon, a father of four surprised Facebook followers when he wrote the following:

Well the cat comes out of the bag. I want to make sure that you all hear the big news directly from me.

Today the 16-acre farm has 109 acres for sale, including our original family home and bright red barn. It’s a little bit scary but mostly exciting.

Time to move on to the next season of life.

According to a local real estate report, these 16 acres have a market value of 4 4 million.

As small people, Big World visitors are well aware that Roloff Farms is located in Hillsboro, Oregon and is a top tourist attraction in the area year after year, especially during the pumpkin season.

In June 2019, almost three years after their divorce, Amy Rolf sold part of her farm to her ex-husband for 667,000.

Since then he has moved about 15 minutes away from his previous home, when Matt could move to Arizona with girlfriend Carin Chandler, rumors have been circulating since he retired from his career at the farm.

In a preview of new episodes of this reality show, Matt actually clashes with son Zack about the future of this property.

“When Zach and I finally sat down, we were really in a different camp. There could be some kind of deal,” Matt said in a confession at the May 17 premiere, courtesy of Lukochuri.

Citing a discussion that obviously didn’t go well, Matt added to the clip:

“Zach came in the real heat. He did not come to the discussion. He has come to demand. “

For Zach’s position on the controversial issue?

“He’s looking for a situation that he can control,” Zach said of his father. “You’re not pointing out the terms here. You’ve been giving too many instructions for too long.”

That’s great. Zach sounds unusually angry and bitter, doesn’t he?

“I’m sorry, I’m confused,” Chandler said at the same premiere, referring to the problems between Matt and Jack. “I do not know why they are so angry. It feels very personal. “

We can’t say exactly when this episode was filmed, probably a few months ago.

We To do I know for sure, though, that Zach and wife Tory moved to Washington late last year … so it’s safe to assume they won’t make any offers on the farm.

Will there be any members of the Roloff family?

It seems unlikely.

Matt Rolfe in 23 seasons

Little people, big world returns on Tuesday 17th May.

Here’s what to expect from a teasing press release …

Rolfers face big changes and challenging times as the rift in the family causes an unexpected split that ushers in a new and very different chapter.

Amy and Matt find friendship in unexpected ways because the two, Chris and Carin, spend more time together and even share a trip to Arizona.

Meanwhile, tensions erupted from a heated farm discussion between Zach, Tory, Matt and Karin.

When the discussion ends, Zach and Tori decide to move away from the farm and build their new home while expecting their third child.

And above all, Matt makes a decision that could change the farm – and the family – forever.
