Megan Merkel has stood up for the working mother, continuing the anger of Republicans

When Meghan Merkel and Prince Harry first moved to America, there was widespread debate as to how the couple would and should influence them enough.
Fans had hoped Sussex would involve itself for political and humanitarian reasons, while critics warned that doing so would create enough controversy.
The situation escalated again in October, when Megan wrote an open letter to Congress urging members to pass a bill to ensure paid family leave for all Americans.
Several Republican politicians have criticized the move, but Meghan does not appear to have been terribly offended by the response.

According to a new press release from the Martial Plan for Mothers, Megan has once again taken up the cause of working families by helping to establish the National Business Coalition for Child Care.
The statement quoted Meghan as saying, “Everywhere families and especially working mothers are asked to stand shoulder to shoulder.”
“It simply came to our notice then. As has been said many times, it takes a village to raise a child, “the Duchess of Sussex continued.

“Today, we’re sending a message that childcare is not just a community obligation এটি it’s a business obligation. Building a strong workforce begins by meeting the needs of families.”
Meghan’s comments echo those remarks she made in her letter to Congress last year.
“A family should not choose between making a living and taking care of their children (or loved ones, or themselves, as we see with a broad pay holiday plan),” he wrote.

Apparently, the Duchess is not in the mood to move away from the controversy these days.
His latest campaign in the political arena is based on an amazing story involving a prominent Democrat.
In a recent interview NewsweekJoe Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, suggested that Megan should run for president.

“The more women we have, the better our democratic system will work with a different perspective and we embrace all women,” Biden Owens said.
“We welcome [Meghan] Come and join the Democratic Party. “
When asked if he felt that Meghan “might one day be a good candidate for the presidency,” Biden Owens replied:

“Yes, probably. Of course he will.”
Megan probably has little interest in holding office, as she probably has more power as a private citizen than an elected official.
And he has almost no interest in bidding for the White House in 2024.

Still, it’s not hard to imagine the laughter that will ensue if Megan faces Donald Trump in the national election.
Like many members of his party, Trump has criticized Meghan throughout her marriage to Harry.
In a recent interview, the former president memorably commented that the Duchess was “not a fan”, adding:

“I wish Harry all the best because he will need it.”
Needless to say, Trump vs. Merkel would be a highly entertaining debate.
That said, it would be best for us to have at least one election where no former TV star would run for president. Just Sayin ‘!
