Mohammed Abdelhamid enjoyed his first morning in America this week 90 day engagement.
He woke up in Yvette Arelano’s bed, with his love beside him.
But it wasn’t exactly what he wanted – because Mohammed wanted to mark the special day with breakfast in bed.
Mohammed hoped Yvette would fulfill his wish, and felt “frustrated” when he went to work instead of waiting for her like his mother.
Season 9, Episode 5 90 day engagementMohammed and Yvette woke up together.
They kept no secret of their less restful night’s sleep. After all, it’s been a long time since they last saw each other.
Unfortunately, their morning show was cut short by necessity – Eve had to go.
Mohamed was surprised that Yvette had to leave the house, asking where he was going.
He explained that he had to go to work – because he had a job, but also had to support himself, himself and his son Theron.
Mohammed can’t work without a work visa, which is a month away, so he can’t take the time. Not even on his first day.
When Yvette told him this, however, he seemed almost short-circuited while processing the information.
Mohammed told the camera that he had a “dream”, to mark this special day, that Yew would cook breakfast for him in bed.
Many of us enjoy breakfast in bed, but very few people actually expect it.
Yvette, however, did not leave Mohammed completely empty-handed.
Since he wants a bidet for the bathroom (he insisted he can’t live without it), Yve offered to install it as his project for the day.
He tried, but was unsure of how to do it.
When Yvette took him to the kitchen, Mohammed looked confused.
“I thought you were going to make breakfast for me,” he said in disbelief, as if the paw of his tune would change his mind.
He could not, however, because he had to go to work, because he had patients’ appointments.
Yvette instead offered a variety of ingredients to make breakfast for Mohammed, probably knowing what he liked.
Still, Mohammed was shocked when he went to prepare his food, “because my mother, she usually cooks for me.”
Mohammed, while discussing with his fiance, raised his mother very seriously.
Mohammed revealed that he felt “frustrated” with Yvette for not preparing breakfast in bed as he had imagined.
Her mother has always done these things for her and she has never lived with a woman before.
He tried to install the bidet, but to no avail, apparently hoping that Yew would take care of him when he returned.
One of the highlights of their stay together was when Mohammed met Theron, the son of Eve.
She was unsure about the delay in her son’s development and how he would respond to the need for treatment.
But the two embraced, and Mohamed jumped at the camera to see how welcome he felt.
90 day engagement However, since then, fans have been blasting Mohammad.
From calling her “Hamza 2.0” to referring to her mother-fianc’s confusion as “Oedipal Olympics,” her critics are no less vocal.
Yvette is working to support her, herself and her son – it doesn’t make sense for her to expect to work at home before and after work. She is not his mother.
