According to a new report from The sunThe king forbade his parents to take pictures while he was visiting his grandchildren Lilibate Last week for the first time! Seriously ?!

According to reports, the pair met on Thursday afternoon, just before the youngest Lilibet’s first birthday. However, it seems that things are still very exciting among the family members because the queen did not want any proof of identity!

A source told The Outlet on Tuesday about the surprise ban:

“Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment to meet Lilliput Queen. But they weren’t told there was no chance. It was a private family meeting.”

That’s great! The outlet added that the queen’s main fear was that the couple would then promote the photos through American outlets and TV channels. You mean, like, saltines and their ilk, eh? Netflix Documents “at home” ??

We fully understand that the 96-year-old wishes such a meaningful and private moment not to be ruined by the camera, but it is also shocking to think that Harry and Megan were not allowed to capture such an important meeting. It’s a shame to think that you can never look back on the moment you met Lilliput Queen!

As Perezius readers know, Meghan and Harry hosted a birthday party Frogmore Cottage Saturday for their daughter. It was a “relaxed and casual” event for the royal family to reconnect with Callie’s residents and meet their daughter during her first visit to her father’s country. Looks like the photos at the event were approved and they quickly hit the internet! So maybe the queen had a reason to be so strict? Let’s see:

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. It took her parents a whole year to bring Lilibate to England for this trip, so who knows how long she might have to wait until her next visit to see the Queen?
