“Jess talked to Luke and me during the season and I think people will be really impressed. I think book fans will be happy. “

Creator Chris Van Dussen has resigned as a showrunner after Season 2, and Brownell spoke to Variety on Monday about his decision to deviate slightly from the chronological order of Queen’s storytelling, telling the outlet:

“I really think it’s time for Colin and Penelope.

“Because we’ve been seeing these two actors on our screens since Season 1, we’ve already invested some in them. We know who they are as humans.

“I think, especially last season, there were moments of excitement between them where, like this, Colin almost realized that Penelope had feelings for him but he didn’t get there.

“Instead of throwing water on that dynamic, we wanted to push it into their season. It really seemed like the perfect moment to end it.”

Netflix has not yet confirmed a premiere date for Season 3.

We know, however, that the role of Francesca Bridgeton, previously played by Ruby Sox, will be restored.

Because the Sox led Netflix’s “Lockwood & Co.”, He left the Shondaland show and was replaced by Hannah Dodd.
