Tammy Slaton: Done with alcohol! And smoke! And maybe soon rehabilitation?!?

Tammy Slaton is getting there, folks.

The 1,000-pound Sisters star tested herself at a rehabilitation facility in late 2021 after suffering a major health scare – and after seeing her weight balloon hovering around 700 pounds.

She needs help.

And, to Tammy’s credit, he knew it.

Over the past few months, Slaton has provided fans with occasional social media updates, usually sharing a picture of himself from somewhere inside the facility.

Occasionally, he will respond by assuring people that he is doing the right thing.

Now, however, a seemingly good friend of the TLC personality has spoken to The Sun and shared more about Tammy Slaton’s condition these days.

And it all sounds pretty positive!

According to this source, Tammy is done with alcohol and cigarettes and these substances no longer “want to be around”.

In the 1,000-pound Sisters Season 3 finale, Slaton admitted that he drank 8 bottles of alcohol a week. Which simply bonkers.

Now, however?

Tammy Paul says the reality star hasn’t had a drop of alcohol since entering rehab.

Because of all these advances, Tammy has been able to perform the operation by leaving a small breathing tube, the insider insisted.

“He hates his trachea, even though it’s getting smaller,” the friend told The Sun of Devices, adding that Slaton must be on after a prodicure to make his breathing easier.

“Tammy has to wear part-time now.”

Perhaps most importantly and impressively, the acquaintance said that Tammy may be able to leave rehabilitation in the near future.

“He is doing very, very well and he will be out of rehabilitation sooner than expected,” said the friend.

“Originally, he was going to be out by the end of August, but he was going to be out sooner rather than later.

“His birthday is coming up in July, and he’ll be able to celebrate at home.”

The question, of course, remains: What will happen to Tammy after he finishes this job?

For example, since Tammy herself paid for the rehabilitation, she may not be able to afford the rent when she leaves. Thanks …

“She’ll be with me for a while when she comes out. She’ll be there as soon as we find a place,” said Amy, referring to her plans to help her siblings line up.

“I am not sure when he will return, but I know he is getting the help he needs.

“If he has to stay there for a year, two years, that’s fine. He needs help.”

Elsewhere, viewers are wondering if there will be a show for Tammy to return later this year.

It is unclear whether the 1,000-lb sisters will be renewed for the fourth season, although the same source who spoke to The Sun after Slaton’s late recovery says Tammy has come up with a way to stay relevant.

“Even if Amy leaves the show, there are plenty of options for Tammy,” the man told the aforementioned outlet, insisting that Amy had considered writing a memoir.

He could push for a spinoff.

First, however, and foremost?

Slaton needs to focus on his health.
