Travis Barker moved to Calabasas a few years ago to live near Courtney Kardashian.

Sometimes, the fine line between “sweet” and “stocking” depends entirely on the recipient.
We remember that after the revelation on this week The Kardashians.
Travis Barker bought a new home in Calabasas in 2017, almost four years before he and Courtney Kardashian started dating.
Apparently, even at that time, he bought and acted because he “knew” that Courtney was the love of his life.

In Season 1, Episode 5 of The Kardashians, Chris Jenner came to see his older brother, Courtney.
Courtney is happily involved with Travis Barker – a proposal that was documented in the Hulu series and was widely celebrated by her fans.
The court mistakenly admitted that her ring was damaged, so during filming she blurted it out with her hand and shared that she would repair it.

The engagement ring was not just jewelry.
It was designed by Travis himself.
Courtney’s incident – which happened while folding the laundry – struck her, but she was fixing it so that everything would be fine.

Chris then opened up about becoming a favorite through a recent conversation with his future son-in-law.
“He goes, ‘Do you want to know the real reason why I moved to Calabasas?'” Momazar recalled.
“Because I knew he lived in Calabasas, and I knew he was the love of my life,” Chris Travis was quoted as saying.

“I didn’t know her that way, but I just knew I couldn’t date or be with her,” Chris continued.
He quotes Travis as explaining “because he was with someone else that at least I could live by him.”
In 2017, Courtney was dating model Younes Bendzima.

Courtney gave an affectionate response without directly commenting on what Travis told Chris.
“I’ve never met a better person in my life,” he said.
Courtney praised her for her “thoughtfulness and everything.”

“It was just such an amazing moment,” Chris reflects.
There were visible tears in his eyes.
Chris’s cries are almost as meme as Kim’s cries, but obviously she was touched by the show of love.

Technically, Travis first moved to Calabasas in humor.
Even then he was married. London was a small child. Alabama was just a child.
We doubt it means Travis or Chris.

Instead, perhaps this episode points to Travis’ move in 2017, when he bought a new home.
At that point, Courtney and Scott were gone. It was Scott’s tin-boning downward spiral year in the ear. It was the year of Rob’s revenge porn against Black China.
The public had no idea that Courtney or Travis would end up together. It wasn’t even whispered about.

About four years later Travis and Courtney will not be together. So … is this a clever story, or is it stalking?
Maybe not. Maybe it’s both.
And maybe Chris’s version of what Travis told him isn’t necessarily the word for word that we’re hard at episode with.
