Tyler Baltiera shared a heartfelt poem for daughter Carly on her 13th birthday

One of the most heartbreaking moments in Teen Mom’s history has always been when Caitlin Lowell and Tyler Baltiera decided to adopt their daughter Carly.
They themselves were very young, and their domestic life was chaotic and abusive, so they did the best they could for their child.

It was an incredibly selfless decision, and it’s something that both Caitlin and Tyler have struggled with all these years.
And, believe it or not, it has The whole 13 years Since their first daughter, Carly, was born.
Time flies, doesn’t it?
Yes, 13 years have passed since MTV filmed the absolutely devastating episode of 16 and Pregnancy, because Caitlin and Tyler were crying after giving birth to Carly.

It’s been 13 years since they handed Carly over to her parents, Brandon and Theresa.
It must have been a bittersweet time for them, to think about what would have happened if they had made a different choice, and to think about what life would be like now that she was officially a teenager.
But it turns out we don’t have to worry too much about what they’re thinking – and that’s because Tyler wrote a poem about the situation he shared on Instagram.
In addition to the poem, she shared a picture of the hospital and Kate holding baby Carly, and for the caption she wrote “Happy 13th birthday Carly! I have no words to describe how I feel today … so instead I thought I was a I will share the poems I wrote for him. “

The poem is quite intense, at least, let’s read it together then we’ll go over it, right?
I never wanted you to go
I hope you understand
I wanted to hold you in my arms forever

Like your figures around my pinky
In the palm of your little hand.
I remind you of your beautiful little face
Your baby’s blanket swaddled so tight

Your soul is so innocent … and guess what?
I still have that baby blanket …
It is best folded by my bed
And sometimes I uncover it

Just put it on my neck
And pretend I’m holding you instead
Because I wake up every day
My heart beats with you

& Dance in my head
Oh I know how you can
Rotate in my hand
One day my love …

I promise we’ll dance again
But until that day comes
I can see you in my dreams
Repetition of sweet memories upon repetition

My pink on the palm of your little hand
And there are poems.
That’s a lot, you know?
This is also a difficult issue, as there is obviously a lot of trauma surrounding Carly’s adoption for Tyler and Caitlin, and she doesn’t seem to have been able to fully process it.

They both deal with their confidence as they choose to embark on their play activities.
A lot of people think Carly is getting old now, these kinds of things can be uncomfortable floating there.
After all, even though she’s their daughter biologically, she’s only seen them a few times, and Tyler is posting poems about her with lines like “One day soon my love I promise we’ll dance again” …
Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.

What do you think of Tyler’s poetry?
